Well... It appears I suck at updating. Things have only gotten more and more hectic for me, but as Christmas rolls in, I'm gaining some free time. I'll try to rock some more comics for y'all.
The cool thing about going to school is that almost everything I'm learning, once applied, could make for some really cool additions to Ripped Ticket. Everything from Flash animation, developed digital artwork, better web design, more extra things like banners and ads, even really cool things like animated movies, 3D designs, and animated games. Just as soon as I have time to do them... And not feel like I'm still in class. The possibilities are endless!
I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to say in here. Well, I guess Val has a roommate? Will we meet her? What's she like? These questions and more will be answered in the next exciting episode. I'm looking forward to introducing her, though, as she's kind of a spinoff character from Ripped Ticket III, a comic that would have appeared here had I not decided to do the one you see now. I would have really liked to do that comic, as it's a lot more original and fun as an idea, but it's also a lot more of an aquired taste. Kind of like the later strips in my last comic.
Whelp, I'll do my best to get another strip done for you before long, gang. Until then.

i'm too busy saving the world
It's been a while.
Am I ever going to update? Perhaps. I mean, I renewed the site for another year, that's saying something, right? Gotta tell ya, I'm not really motivated to make more strips right now. As a matter of fact, I haven't even been drawing in the Ripped Ticket style all that much lately.
So what does that mean? Should I try again? Should I press on, slowly but surely? I have had many, many ideas since the last few updates. I mean, I should, right? It's been a million years.
I kind of, I mean, I shouldn't really start something over-top the current strip. People are still bugging me about the last strip. By the way, you can find that sucker : here. So I can't be bothered to set up alternate comic archives. Maybe some day. Until I figure out what I'm doing, comic updates will be slow or not at all. Sorry to tell you this, guys, but I can certainly tell you it's not due to laziness.
On the bright side, I'm still posting some of my work on a Deviantart account. If you like you can take a look and keep up to date with the junk I'm doing, assuming I'll get to inking and coloring all the millions of sketches I have--I've been drawing a heck of a lot lately, but I haven't been spending too much time in Photoshop. Which sucks because I have some really nifty stuff. I'll get to bringing my tablet to class more and get some swanky stuff for ya, but, again, comic updates? Unlikely. Unless they're little fun comics I do in my Deviant account.
So, hey, feel free to send me some mail about this (rippedticket@gmail.com), though, I miss hearing from you guys. It means a lot to me how loyal so many of you are to keep clicking that Ripped Ticket link in your bookmarks. I'll keep a blog in my Deviant account on updates regarding myself and the comic and the art.
See ya 'round, kids.
